- 31 May 2009: The Northumberland County Jubliee Cup Stage 1 winner determined by head-to-head match.
The NCBA Jubilee Cup Stage 1 match at Cramlington, tonight, ended with both Gosforth Empire and Forth on the same number of points with equal shots' differences.
The organisers were forced to consider the third criterion, the match between Gosforth Empire and Forth, in order to determine the victor.
Gosforth Empire, having won the head-to-head against Forth was declared the winner of Group G (Alnwick, Forth, Gosforth Empire and Whitley & Monkseaton).
- 24 May 2009: A lovely afternoon at the Parks: TDBA wins match against a Warkwickshire Touring Team
Six Tynemouth and District bowling clubs each provided one rink of 4 players for a match against a touring team from Warwickshire.
Forth was represented by: Marie Langdown, Ian Kidd, Les Betham and Tommy Clay.

- 27 April 2009: Bowling in the Rain. Tynemouth BC wins TDBA President's Match at the Willows by 1 shot.
Each year, the winners of the Tynemouth and District Bowling Association's Daglish and Knott Cups play against each other in the President's Match. This year it was Tynemouth, winners of the Daglish Cup who played against and beat Forth, winners of the Knott Cup by 37 shots to 36 on a very rainy evening at the Willows.

- 25 April 2009: Chairman v President Match
Chairman, Les Betham wins again: his team won by 89 shots to 79 shots (2008: 99 shots to 94).
The new Doris Bass Trophy for the winning rink was presented to Jack Toward and Bill Paterson. Jack is said to be delighted to be the first co-holder of the brand new trophy.
