The
galvanisedcradle
High days and holidays have not been the same at the Forth this season. There has been something missing: the Forth flag, or to be more correct: the Forth flagpole!
The flagpole-cradle was vandalised during the off-season. Although the fibreglass flagpole is fairly robust, its wooden cradle was not strong enough to withstand the onslaught of vandals.
George Roberts and Pearson Varty have put their heads together. The result is a galvanised iron cradle with a lockable bolt, designed by George and fabricated by Pearson at his factory.
