Spring Meeting at 6.30 p.m. in the clubhouse.

SUMMARY

• One minute's silence was observed to mark the death of Norman Laidler.
• The Club sent greetings and good wishes to life member Peter Davies, who is gravely ill.
• Opening dates of various leagues and fixtures were reported.
• John Carrielies was elected to replace Ray Robinson on the Selection Committee.
• The Management Committee is to investigate venues for a pre-Christmas dinner and report to the AGM.
• Thanks were expressed to:
  • Margaret Rycroft and other helpers for the Spring Fair.
  • Walter Bailey for producing score books for the coming season.
  • Frank Rutter (Margaret's brother) who lives in Australia:
    Frank had designed and made a wooden plaque and also a clock, both featuring the Forth crest. They were much admired at the meeting.
