- Each year a different member club is asked to nominate
a president for the Tynemouth & District Bowling
Association. The 2005 president was Trevor Baxter, nominated by Forth BC.
Trevor attended the Tynemouth & District AGM on the 16 November, expecting to receive his past-president's badge and instal his successor for 2006, the nominee of Walker BC.
Unfortunately, Walker's presidential candidate did not put in an appearance and so Trevor has agreed to carry-on being president until the Association's spring meeting.
Once more with feeling, Mr President!!
