- 7 October: President stirs-up hornets' nest:

Baxter stepped on a hornets' nest on the last day of his holiday
in the USA and was stung badly. He was not well enough to chair the
AGM.

- • Club rejected proposal for installation of automatic watering system.
- • Proposal for Ladies' 4 Bowl Championship carried unanimously.
